MY MUSIC PAGES

For a short while a few years ago (2001) I was involved with helping a man who was organising Rock concerts in the town hall Hitchin with the support of NHDC. My involvement was mainly promoting the gigs on the net, the origination for a couple of posters, and moral support.

He put on several nights during the year, with some local bands playing original music and some bigger names like Sweet and Girlschool. There were a couple of poor turnouts, but that was when a tribute band was booked and following one of these there were sound issues, with complaints from some oap's living behind the venue, so the project was wound down.

But the last concert was Hawkwind and it great and was a sell out.
